Thank you RoofPro for making our roof and skylight replacement as stress free as possible. We had moved into our home five years ago and noticed that our roof, which was only ten years old, was warping and looked like a washboard. We contacted four roofing contractors to diagnose the cause of the problem and to get a quote for two new skylights. There was RoofPro, two local contractors referred to us by neighbors and a large roofing company that advertises frequently on TV. Will Moore from RoofPro stood out as the most experienced and knowledgeable of the estimators. Not only did he show us that the roof was failing because of ventilation problems, he was the only estimator that showed us that our porch roof had structural problems that would need to be addressed before a new roof could be installed. We decided to forego repairs and asked the roofing companies for replacement quotes. RoofPro's proposal was thorough and detailed how the existing ventilation issues would be addressed. The company that advertised on TV just emailed an amount without a detailed contract that was $20,000 higher than RoofPro's and then called back two days later saying they were running a special that was still $12,000 higher. One local roofer did not include the porch roof in their estimate and the fourth one did not submit a written proposal. We signed our contract with RoofPro even though one of the proposals was slightly lower. They were the most knowledgeable, detailed and didn't use any gimmicks with their pricing. Within two days of signing our contract our project was scheduled for the following week. Our project manager, Ken Stanley, and his work crew showed up promptly at 7:30 to begin work. Ken was on site all day and was easily approachable to answer our questions. The new skylights required access to the inside of our home and the workers showed great care covering our floors and furniture and putting up plastic curtains to keep dust from spreading throughout our home. When their work was completed they made sure that everything was as clean as when they arrived. The new roof, skylights and cleanup were all completed the same day. We are very happy with the look of our new roof and love our new skylights. I highly recommend that anyone considering any exterior work to their home get an estimate from RoofPro.Posted on Michael M34Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Very professional and quick to respond. They stand by their work.Posted on Michael MeyerTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Roof Pro provided rapid and efficient response to our leaky roof problem. Jim Para conducted a thorough evaluation both inside and outside the structure and provided detailed feedback and potential fix action options. With the age of the house and previous water damage we chose a complete roof system replacement. Bracing for the cost, we were thrilled with the final estimate. Ken Stanley and his installation team's professionalism, quality of workmanship, and speed in getting the leaky roof replaced before the upcoming rains set in thankfully prevented further water damage . We witnessed a well oiled machine in operation. Well Done Roof Pro. We highly recommended this team !! v/r MikePosted on Skip NeesTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Great past experiences with Jim Para and RoofPRO at both our house and our daughters. This time it was just a small leak. Jim was prompt in stopping by to take a look and give us the estimate. Very pleased they had a slot open up in a few days and the repair was done before the next big rain. Crew was great showing me the bad plywood which they then replaced. Amazing how well they matched the rest of the roof even though those shingles are twenty years old. Really appreciate the detailed before and after photos they provided.Posted on Ewan AlexanderTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The crew did a terrific job. Quite professional.
Gutter Repair Services That Fix the Real Problem
Gutter problems don’t all look the same, and fixing them properly means addressing the specific issue, not applying a one-size-fits-all solution. Our gutter repair services focus on identifying what’s causing the problem and correcting it so your system drains properly and protects your home. Below are the most common types of gutter damage we repair and how we handle each one.
Reliable Gutter Repair Services in Maryland
If you’re noticing leaks, sagging sections, or water damage, you may need gutter repair. We specialize in repairing residential and commercial gutter systems across Maryland. From sealing leaks to correcting misalignment and replacing damaged sections, our team delivers quick, lasting solutions.
Gutter Leaks and Failing Seams
Leaking seams are one of the most common gutter issues we repair. Over time, sealants wear down and fasteners loosen, allowing water to escape at the joints. We address this by resealing or reinforcing the seams so water stays contained and flows where it’s supposed to, not down your siding or along the foundation.
Sagging or Pulling-Away Gutters
When gutters start sagging or pulling away from the house, it’s usually a hanger or fastening issue. This often happens after years of heavy rain, snow, or clogged gutters adding extra weight. We reset the gutter line, replace failing hangers, and secure everything properly so the system sits tight and drains correctly.
Improper Pitch and Standing Water
Gutters rely on proper pitch to move water toward the downspouts. When that slope is off, water can sit in the gutter and lead to overflow or premature wear. We correct the pitch by adjusting the gutter alignment, restoring proper flow and reducing the risk of future damage.
Cracks, Holes, and Rust Damage
Small cracks, pinholes, or rusted areas can cause leaks even when the rest of the gutter looks fine. These problems tend to grow if left alone. Depending on the condition of the gutter, we either repair the damaged area or replace that section to restore full function.
Downspout Problems and Drainage Issues
In some cases, the gutter is fine but the drainage isn’t. Blocked, loose, or poorly positioned downspouts can cause water to back up or discharge too close to the home. We clear obstructions, secure loose connections, and adjust downspout placement so water is directed safely away from the foundation.
Repair vs. Replacement Decisions
Not every gutter issue calls for a full replacement. In many situations, focused repairs are all that’s needed to restore performance and extend the life of the system. During an inspection, we evaluate the entire setup, identify where the problem starts, and recommend the most practical solution based on what actually needs to be fixed.

Gutter Issues We Commonly See on Laurel Homes
What we’ve seen working on homes around Laurel is that gutters take a real beating year after year. The area averages over 40 inches of rainfall annually, and recent years have brought more frequent heavy downpours that test gutter systems fast. When you combine that rain with Laurel’s mature tree coverage, it doesn’t take long for leaves and debris to build up and stress the system.
Laurel also has a wide mix of housing, from older neighborhoods to newer developments. That means gutters vary a lot in age, materials, and how well they were originally installed. Small issues like loose hangers, aging seams, or minor pitch problems can turn into water damage quickly if they’re ignored. Keeping gutters in good working shape goes a long way toward protecting siding, foundations, and landscaping, especially in a climate like this.
Signs You May Need Gutter Repair
Not all gutter problems are obvious at first. Some of the most common warning signs we see in Laurel include:
- Water spilling over the edge during rain
- Gutters pulling away from the house
- Rust spots, cracks, or pinholes
- Staining on siding or fascia boards
- Pooling water near the foundation
- Downspouts dumping water too close to the home
If you’re seeing any of these, it’s usually a sign that the system needs attention before bigger damage develops.

Gutter Repair vs. Replacement for Laurel Homes
In many cases, gutters can be repaired without needing a full replacement. Loose sections, leaks, and pitch issues are often fixable and can add years of life to the system.
Replacement is usually recommended only when the gutters are heavily rusted, damaged in multiple areas, or improperly installed from the start. During your inspection, we’ll walk through both options so you can make an informed decision based on your home and budget.
Our Gutter Repair Process
We keep the repair process simple and straightforward.
First, we inspect the gutter system to find out where the problem actually starts. Many issues aren’t caused by the gutter itself but by pitch, fasteners, or drainage.
Next, we explain what we see and whether repair or replacement makes the most sense. If a repair will solve the problem and extend the life of the system, that’s what we recommend.
Once approved, we complete the repair, secure the system properly, and make sure water is flowing away from the home as it should. Before leaving, we do a final check to confirm everything is working correctly.
