Storm Restoration Team Lead Position
We’re seeking a skilled individual for our storm restoration team lead position. This is a full-time position with a Tuesday – Saturday schedule (Evening and Weekend-Saturday Required). Compensation: $120,000 – $235,000 per year.
Job Description
As the Storm Restoration Team Lead (SRT), you’ll be leading from the front, initially in the field hunting new business and proving you are the ideal candidate to build and manage a dedicated team focused on storm-related property damage. Once you prove your success you will then develop your team and transition from canvassing, sales, and inspections into a pure leadership role. Your experience in insurance restoration and knack for recruiting, training, and motivating teams will be invaluable.
- Lead and manage the SRT in an outbound marketing model, specializing in wind, hail, and weather-related claims.
- Utilize your expertise to drive business growth through insurance collaborations and storm damage assessments.
- Recruit, train, and lead the team while continuously motivating and managing their performance
Qualifications: 2 years of outside sales leadership experience
- Proven success in roofing sales, particularly in storm damage and insurance-related work.
- Driver’s license.
- Confidence and experience in on-roof inspections and managing 40’ ladders for up to 3-story buildings independently.
- Proficiency in CRM software and computer usage.
- Strong negotiation, planning, and consultative sales skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, essential for customer interactions.
- Public Adjuster license or relevant experience would be a significant advantage.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 90 pounds regularly.
- Comfortable ascending/descending ladders from 10 to 40 feet in height.
- Capable of working in varied outdoor weather conditions.
- Must be able to work in extreme hot and cold weather conditions.
- Proficient in handling materials and equipment from variant heights.
